Silent Retreat: Rejoice in the Lord Always

July 20, 2018 @ 3:00 PM – July 22, 2018 @ 1:00 PM

This retreat will focus on how we can be joyful even in difficult times.  We will look at Joy as part of our faith, by reflecting on Joy as a “fruit of the Spirit” and as leading us to surrender to God.  This silent retreat will allow us to escape from the noise and busyness that so often surround us and occupy our minds.  On Friday evening we will begin with an introduction to the beauty of silence and how we might enter into it for the retreat.

Retreat Master: Father Killian Loch, O.S.B., has been director of Campus Ministry at Saint Vincent College since 2011 and has been active in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal for many years. His column on the Sunday homilies appears in The Catholic Accent, the the Archabbey website, the website of the National Institute for the Renewal of the Priesthood, and Jednota, the newspaper of the First Catholic Slovak Union.

Check-in: 3 to 5:30 p.m., Leander Hall. Retreat ends at 1 p.m. Sunday.
